__ 4x5. I think the picture was slightly blurred around the fork because it wasn't flat when I scanned the positive. Since I'm not actually going to use this for anything, I'm not going to bother rescanning. I'm sure you get the general idea. Silverware is one of the worst photographed things ever. Look in magazines, most of the time they only show the tips if it's an ad for silverware. It's because most proffessionals don't know how to do the whole thing. This isn't perfect, as it's a little dark, but hey, I've never done it before, and a little putty woulda fixed that (below the handles). Next time I know what to do.  |

The weave of the blue and white cloth versus the relative smoothness of the blue surface everything is on and the mirror smoothness of the silverware really kicks ass. The overall composition works really well and, combined with the light source coming in from the left, gives the whole piece a very natural feel. It's not "Martha Stewart's Living"-style perfect and that's what makes it look cool. = P
A damn fine piece indeed.
